Millennium Renaissance Consultants (MRC)/UrbanBiz Ltd is a dynamic social business that is looking for a talented individual to drive forward the growth and capacity of the organisation and its related companies.
We are currently seeking to employ an experienced Business Development Officer to join our diverse and talented team. You will report directly to the Director of Business Development and will be responsible for growing and diversifying the programmes and activities of MRC/UrbanBiz to meet strategic objectives, whilst paying particular attention to developing long-term relationships with stakeholders, funders and partners from within the social enterprise and regeneration sector.
You will be/have:
- Proven success in ability to tender for new business development opportunities, particularly in the areas of employment skills, training and enterprise.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including creative writing.
- Capable of hands on problem solving with ability to generate ideas and solutions.
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent.
- A sound understanding of the public sector in the UK especially around economic development and regeneration within Yorkshire & Humber.
The salary for this position is £23,000 to £27,000 p/a dependent upon experience.
